Ms. Odell is a licensed Architect with 25 years of experience in adaptive historic reuse and residential, commercial and institutional architecture. Her previous experience includes work with a nationally recognized firm specializing in Smart Growth and Transit Oriented Development, and she led the team that developed one of the first Smart Growth zoning codes in Connecticut. Her work at PBBA focuses primarily on multi-family affordable and market-rate housing, realized through both new construction and adaptive historic reuse. Motivated by a strong belief in the importance of sustainability in the building sector as a means to mitigate climate change, she obtained her consultant certification in Passive House in 2016 and prepared a successful Passive House funding application that same year for Columbus Commons. This project, completed in March of 2020, is on track to be the first Passive House Certified multi-family building in Connecticut.
